Wonderful photographs. What kind of camera and lens are you using? Did you go especially to these spots or were they just on the way?

Hi Joan: Thanks for the kind comments! I am using a Nikon D2X with two lenses mostly: a 70-300 VR Nikkor and a 15-35 Sigma.

Some of these are taken by the road while others are at a particular destination that I picked. Many are taken "off road". By this I mean that I will sometimes take a side road just to see what's there. This can take quite a while....I'm still driving, it's been 46 days!

Hi Nancy: Thanks for the kind comments! I am still on my trip. I am currently in Campbell River, BC which is on Vancouver Island. I'm still having fun and seeing all kinds of wonderful things! I will post more pics as I have time!

You took some beautiful pictures. How long were you gone for? I especially like the salmon glacier shot (I love glaciers and icebergs). The black bear looked like a cub, did you see his mother? You should post more pics, they are fantastic.
