Photo of the Week: "Kiev and Countryside"

I've uploaded more photos of Kiev and the nearby countryside including some photos of an isolated cemetery deep in the Ukrainian woods at the end of a dirt road where my uncle was buried in 1943.  There is something very unusual, I thought, in this cemetery; each plot had a picnic table within its wrought iron fence or very nearby.  Apparently families come here on the weekends to enjoy a picnic with their loved ones.  The air smelled sweet from the wildflowers and fir trees and it was so very quiet and calm here.  I hope I captured that sense of peace.
