Hazy Day Photo's - Doug's Tip of the Week

Have you ever been out taking photos on a slightly hazy day and the UV light is very high ... you think the sky does not look to bad, but when you upload your images the sky is white as a fresh snow fall. It’s the UV and it’s not what you expected to see in your image.
This can be fixed by a few quick tips to remember. Shoot early in the morning or late in the afternoon, or if it is overcast wait for the clouds to form as part of your image. If the sky looks really impossible, try framing your photo so the sky is not so blank. Possibly moving your camera position so branches run across the top of the skyline, or a bridge or other opening such as a fence can make for a good natural frame.
Photo’s can be shot in just about any kind of lighting conditions, you just have to be creative with the light. Have fun Doug - Stan C. Reade Photo.
