Small, probably half the size of the red bellied

Hi Sean

I think that these are male and female downy woodpeckers but not seeing their real size it is sometimes hard to differentiate from the hairy. I think that they are downys because their beaks are not as long and thick as a hairy's would be. Sorry to be late in answering but was up north for a bit. The other one that you posted was indeed a red-bellied woodpecker.

Was strange, they both look the same but the top one was feeding the bottom one.
