Sure send me the info, I could probably do a Saturday or the Sunday morning,  we could meet up and compare notes,  they are both beautiful cameras.

Hey Sean

Gail just informed me that there is going to be an outdoor regional dog agility trial in Ilderton the weekend of May 24 to 25. That may be an event that would give you a great test for your new camera with respect to shooting dogs going over jumps, through weave poles at a fairly fast pace. Good way of testing your camera's fps and ability to stop action. I was there last year and was an interesting shoot. Look forward to doing it this year with the D3. If you are interested I can email you the info.

Ha ha Dave, my favourite piece is always the newest.  So far the Canon rocks,  I wonder how I can test it to make sure its operating properly.

A photographer's favourite piece of equipment is the newest one. -DC

Glad to see you stayed with Canon, it would have been costly to switch all that gear at this point.  But then again, I might have bought some of it!

Have fun.

I believe James is looking to ordering kits to do it but will check with him.

I like the shot of the red winged black bird. Its not just you I sat on my porch today after getting back from a 120 k ride and after about an hour and a half not one bird to photograph. I think its the lens that scares them off. May have to invest in one of those hides and see how that works. I too am thinking about sending my D100 off to be converted to infrared. Where are you sending yours?

Great shot of your boy, Sean. Can't wait to see more from your new toy.

40D will be my backup camera and my 30d which is my backup now is going in for an infrared conversion.  I don't think I will come close to you or Sydney any time soon.  Maybe if I win the lottery and get the 1Ds Mk III and a whole lot more lenses.

Really looking forward to some good action stuff though. The 40d was great at 6 fps but 10 should be better, better get some more memory lol.

another from today, funny how as soon as i get a new camera all the wildlife goes into hiding.

Hey Sean

You are going to start rivaling Sydney and myself with all the equipment that you are accumulating. Did you get rid of your 40D? It will be interesting to see how you like the camera especially with action shots. It certainly has posted some impressive results once they got the submirror assembly issue sorted out. It should do a great job at stopping the action with your Boxer's. You'll just have to let Patti use your 40D.
