Using Noise Ninja

Re: Using Noise Ninja

Thanks Bill. I was looking thru my apps files on my Mac and couldn't find anything. I will look again.

I took some high ISO photos last night at a club so I'm itching to see what NN can do for them.

Hi Patti, I have Noise Ninja installed in Photoshop CS3.  If you go to Finder/Applications/NoiseNinja/ doc you'll find a bunch of htm files which, although a little confusing, are instructions for use.  If you're impatient like me, there's one near the bottom listed as "thirty_seconds.htm" which will get you going immediately.

Incidentally, I think you'll be quite happy with your purchase.  I've used it on some scanned slides with amazing results. Also found it very useful with high ISO images with lots of smooth areas in them.  Have fun with it and hope this helps.

Using Noise Ninja

Hi folks,

Anyone have any experience using Noise Ninja? I've downloaded the plug in for my Mac PS Elements 3 and need some suggestions about where to go for decent instructions about how to use it.

I'd like to start shooting at ISO 800 at concerts if possible and need to use some noise management on them. All suggestions gratefully accepted.
