Wednesday 06 of January, 2010

Death Valley - April 23rd to April 30th"Undeveloped, Unpopulated, and Unbelievably Beautiful" : Join us for a seven day photo adventure exploring more of the Southwest, including Death Valley and The Valley of Fire.  Exploring the Southwest is an amazing mixture of rock formations, canyons, valleys and desert.

The colour of the land combined with light makes for great photographs.  We have designed a week of photography that will explore these features, while challenging the eye of our photographers.

We will be spending five days in Death Valley, travelling out of Furnace Lodge Ranch, located within Death Valley National Park.  Our last two days we will base out of Las Vegas, staying at the Monte Carlo Hotel, and travel to the Valley of Fire.

The Valley of Fire is a beautiful red rock canyon 55 miles north of Las Vegas.  After exploring the Valley of Fire we will circle back via Lake Mead and Hoover Dam.

We will also be visiting Red Rock Canyon, and have time for urban photography around Las Vegas.

James Cowie is your host for the tour, and back as his co-host Dave Chidley.  Combined they offer up over 60 years of photographic experience to share with our guests.

The cost of the tour is $2,695.00 Canadian, including all taxes, based on double occupancy.  Single supplement is $700.00.

Tour includes, Workshops, Motor coach to and from Detroit airport, Accommodations in Detroit, Furnace Lodge in Death Valley, Monte Carlo Hotel in Las Vegas, Air fare via Northwest/Delta Airlines, Ground Transportation, Breakfast in Detroit and Death Valley, Park admissions, Welcome dinner (cook-out in the desert), and Farewell Dinner and Show.
