MyPhotoClub.com October 2008 Newsletter

We are posting the October Newsletter from Black Creek Pioneer Village, just north of Toronto.  We were on the first of two Stan C. Reade Photo Fall Tours, and thought it would be fun to bring you the newsletter from this event.  At the bottom of the of these notes we have a selection of images that were shot on the tour, as mentioned by James and Sean in the newsletter video.

October Photo of the Month goes to Steve Vizniowski, Steve,  has won three 11x14 enlargements and two 8 x 12 enlargements from Stan C. Reade Photo, congratulations Steve.  He took the shot on a St. Thomas Photo Guild trip to Tobermorey, in the early part of September.

We had a second contest that went on through the summer it was our Photo Composite contest, were club members were invited to enter a composite photo, created in photoshop.  Our winner is Paul Theriault, with the shot he did of a Humming Bird coming into the feeder.  Great shot Paul, and you have won a copy of Adobe Lightroom2.

We would also like to Thank Jean-Francois O’Kane,  for a great two day workshop entitled Digital Solutions.  A great time was had by all attendants, and you always come away learning something new, and Jean-Francois has such a great way of presenting.
